Gayle E.
Hicks, Ph.D., CCC-A
Dr. Hicks is the founder and President of Audioscope Audiology Group,
APC. She has served the medical community of San Diego since 1977 and
earned her doctorate in Audiology from U.C. Santa Barbara in 1990. Her
specialty training beyond traditional audiology includes utilizing objective
physiological techniques to diagnose hearing disorders in young children
and adults. She lectures throughout the country and is considered an expert
in her field. Dr. Hicks believes the focus of Audioscope is to provide
education and state-of-the-art service in a caring environment. The ultimate
goal is for the patient to achieve improved quality of life through better
hearing.
Maureen J. Wiskerchen, M.A., CCC-A
Ms. Wiskerchen has been a member of the professional staff since 1990.
She completed her Masters Degree in Audiology from George Washington University
in 1983, and has advanced skills in ABR and ENG testing as well as traditional
audiology and hearing aid fitting. In addition to her invaluable role
at Audioscope she is an examiner for the Hearing Aid Dispensers Bureau
of the California Department of Consumer Affairs. A native of San Diego
County, Ms. Wiskerchen also enjoys outdoor adventures with her family

Knox
Ms. Knox, our office manager, is also a longtime member of our staff.
Her genuine concern for our patients and referring physicians continues
to promote Audioscope as a leading provider of audiological services.
She has exceptional organizational skills that make scheduling and insurance
billing a seamless process.
Carla
Graetz
Ms. Graetz is the friendly voice you will hear over the telephone
and the smiling face you will encounter upon entering our office. She
also is an Audiology Assistant for pediatric hearing evaluations and comes
to us with experience working with children in the Poway school district.
Her warm and friendly personality reassures our patients that Audioscope's
primary concern is for their hearing health.
Together we form a cohesive team of professionals who consider excellence in our work as the standard of care.
